As well as our Sunday Services we lead short midweek services in several old people's homes in Raynes Park and Colliers Wood.

OPEN AIR PREACHING

From time to time we go out into the streets and preach the Gospel and get chatting to passers-by. Sometimes we have big discussions with people about the serious issues and sometimes we get encouraged by Christians from other churches and other countries! Sometimes we get to pray with people and help them in a meaningful way in their search for peace with God.

Thankfully we are still free to do this in the UK. Sometimes people pass by and say they don't agree with our message but they are glad we are free to do it! The Government is planning to bring in a law soon in the UK under the guise of stopping religious hatred but it is thought by Christian lawyers that it will seriously hinder the freedom we enjoy to tell people about Jesus ... the saviour of sinners! Why? It coud be classed as hatred and offensive to say that we are all sinners!

NB. Update Sept 2007 ... Thanks be to God for stopping this law. However there hae been other laws passed since then but none yet that inhibit preaching. As we right the Government is considering a new SIngle quality Act that could make justabout all things equal EXCEPT Christianity!
