Our Meetings

We meet on Sundays, which is the first day of the week or the Lord's Day, also known as the Christian Sabbath. It is a day set aside by God for us to rest from our labours and devote our time to worshipping Him. Therefore we meet in the morning at 11am and again in the evening at 6.30pm. These services last approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. We usually stay around to chat for a little while afterwards.

Some would say we are "traditional " or "old fashioned" in our worship but we do not try to follow fashion or tradition for its own sake. Rather we believe that our services whould be "decent and orderly" as the Bible prescribes!

We use the old 1662 Book of Common Prayer of the Church of England. That is pretty old eh! But then again our Bible translation is the Authorised Version and that dates back to 1611 yet it has been the most popular translation of the Bible around the world ever since! Just because something is old it does not mean it is bad. You may get old too one day and despite the aches and pains that come with age, we hope you will be all the more mature and better for it!

We meet at Trellis House, 1 Mill Road, Colliers Wood, London SW19 2NE. Trellis House consists of retirement flats and the management and residents kindly let us use a well appointed first floor Common Room for our meetings. Some of our congregation live at Trellis House and they enjoy meeting with other visitors to worship the Lord together.

Christian Fellowship is wonderful and we would love you to join us. It is what Sunday is for! It is not for shopping! You will benefit much more by coming to a Bible preaching church and drawing near to God than by shopping and going to the pub or watching TV!

We are situated just near the Sainsbury's Sava Centre behind the bus stop opposite the Mosque! Get there a few minutes early or ring the 'call' bell!
